Combines 2003 2366 combine

Thats a good question since its hinged on the side an cant have anything extending beyond the rear of the grain tank. We have a Mauer extension on a 2366, but to open the engine compartment cover you have to fold the back 3 panels over the top of the grain tank to gain access to the engine.

I am a maurer dealer, and what we do on the Case IH is cut another stop in the engine door slide where the door will open to where it touches the hopper extension and will rest there, this is ok for everyday servicing, but to open it all the way, you still have to fold the extensions down. Dont know what to do for the 2003's, i would imagine a hinge change may be in order.

Apparently, CaseIH is subliminally trying to stop people from adding extensions on to the grain tank.
