new kit don't help. maybe another kit would help. if they have one . lousy design as i posted earlier. some engineers aren't riding combines. they are stuck on the computer age.

Yes there is another kit that is being released to the dealers. But if you weld in a couple more supports around the drum it seams to keep it more rigid and seals it better than the dealers update kits.

Had the same problem on older 2388s, We siciliconed up around the rad to body, patched every concievable hole with duct tape, replaced the brush gasket twice, tried to fashion a double brush on screen,it was better but still not great. we are considering getting a reversable electric fan so at least you can reverse it on the fly when things get too hot.
