Combines 2003 machines

I had talked to a case dealer here in Ont. and he told me the new combines would be out in 2004

I talked to a custom cutter that ran a 2003 experimental this year. It is still a 2388 with some improvements. One of them is the AFX rotor inside. The rotoray screen is changed, too. That's the easiest way to determnin the 2003 models from the outside.

The 2388 with the AFX rotor will be available until at least mid 2004. I have been told that some dealers may get 1 7010 to sell for 2003. They will not be available in quantity until 2004. The 7010 is not replacing the 2388. In 2005 there will be a 6010 to replace the 2388.

At Imperial Ne they have 2 brand new 2388s on there lot. I was in a hurry so didnt give them the complete look over but the rotary screen was the biggest thing that stuck out to my attention. I think that they look pretty tough. I did talk to a dealer a while back and he claims that they are getting 1 of the newer style machines he said it wasnt going to be the big one but was supposed to be bigger then the 2388 but who knows IJ
