Combines 2004 Wheat Harvest

I live in central Illinois and the wheat looks good here. Almost no leaf disease at all. Very uncommon for our area. Wheat here is becoming more popular all the time. That is, before $10 soybeans. Yields should be in the 80 bushel range.

I was just wondering what the wheat looked like around Wichita in SC Kansas. Particularly SW of Wichita. I've heard that some places got a hail storm a week or two ago.

went through harper and anthony yesterday and there was a lot of wheat hailed out in that area.

wheat in far north central ks looks real good just headed and now we have had 2.10 rain past 2 days. 60 miles west on us 36 there are burnt spots in feild where it has dried out

Yah the weather is not on my side the forcast says a 1_2 to 1 inch for tonight and tomorrow, but moisture is a good thing,I did order scrapers for the air drill,any way take care. What happened to DevoIJ I did not talk to anyone around home.Keep on cutting!!! Your little Bro

What is your avarage yield out there for wheatIJ Here in NE WI the wheat is a foot tall and green as grass yet. Harvest won't be till first or second week of August. Average out here for us is 80 to 100 bu_acer. Jason
