You should make case cover this problem. They are having the same problem on a bunch of combines, including the 8010. One of two things happened. More than likely the hubb has broke on the inside of the hub assembly. We ended making a hub out of metal because ours broke two or three times. The aluminum hub is a joke. I think there is a keyway also that may come out which allows the hub to spin. Not sure though. let us know what you find.

There is a yellow wear ring glued around the screen that the rubber seal runs on. If it is torn or worn through, the glue will get on the seal and stick. We didnt have parts with us, so we removed the ring, cleaned off the glue, and turned the seal over.Been running ever since. The parts book doesnt show the wear ring, but it is available.

Gpurrs, that explains the problem I was having with one of mine this fall. After setting for a day or two, when I started it up the rotary screen would not turn. I would go out and give it a spin by hand and then it would go the rest of the day.

You are exctly right the rubber part in the same area you are talking about. But mine actually was froze, it had snowed here and was cold and it was all freezing up I ran a knife around it and she took off... I checked the hub and it was good Im just glad it was a easy fix
