Hey FR Haven't heard of any auger heads that big. Would make sense that they build one just because deere does. I'm not familar with the draper heads but doesn't the 25-42' heads have that center flex pointIJ Or do what they call the rice and soybean drapers have a flex sickleIJ I'm just curious but what all did they change on the 8010IJ I know the cleaning shoe was supposed to have a more agressive shaking motion but what elseIJ

8010 upgrades: It was quite a list of thinks the major items were a knew cleaning system repositoned and at different angle to handle more of the highyeilding wetter crops and feeder house and chain upgrades and a new controler for the pressures and a lot of little things that were breaking falling off problems with venders building some cheap stuff. I do think this machine has a lot of potental once they get it right. We are curently changing tires the rubber we had on last year was not big enough to handle the machine and head going from 20.8-42s dualed to 800 metrics dualed with 12" space to keep from pluging suposeably they work beter than tracs in mud, I will see. Some 8010s worked good for people last year but these were in places that did not have the tough conditons of mud and high moisture like a lot of us experienced and also these were people runing small heads and not pushing them for capacity. We run a 18r corn head and 36ft crary air head that worked decent last year and with the improvments that have been done I think that head will be very imprssive this year but I would like to see these new heads from Case run and they wont tell me where there at. I too have been told about the larger auger and draper headers which are supposed to be it field trials this fall but I do not know where either. Also there was chopper cornheads and folding 12 row cornheads on test as well. We will have to wait and see.

Hey FR don't know if your interested but MacDon is demoing a 36 flex draper head down by me. South of Granite Falls 10 miles or so. They were suppose to have the demo on tuesday but with the rain they haven't had it yet. I haven't heard when it is going to be. They have a 2388 and a cr960 (i think that's the number on the new holland) with 36 foot headers sittin in the field now. If your interested I could let you know when they are having it. Jason
