I'm more familiar with the yellow machine but the electroncis are basiccally the same. You can use feerhouse angle to set the headerhight for direct cutting wheat. You must go to the configuration menu, then select the header submenu. Using the right arrow button move over to the mainscreen and scroll down untill you find a setting labeled "header autofloat". Select "not installed". Now when in operation you can select the AHHC switch position to either the 1st or 2nd position. lower the header untill you have it at the height you want it and hold the "R" Resume button. After 2 seconds you will hear a beep. Now whenever you press the resume button once the header will lower to that height. You can then also program a second cutting hieght by moving the AHHC switch and repeating the process. Once programmed pressing the button once will drop the head to that position as set by the operator and quickly pressing it 2 times will raise the head. You can always use the manual raise_lower button to override the Automatic header height control. The tilt will still operate manually. It will not work automatically like this. Basiccally if the "Header Autofloat' is set to "Installed" the combine will use the ground contact sensors on the flex cutterbar. If it is set to "Not Installed" the combine will use the feederhouse height to set automatic height control with.
