The largest pulley available fro CIH is one that is roughly 9 3_4 inches. Appears to me there isn't enough room behind the shields to go much larger than 11 inches, however that is a taper splined shaft and getting a pulley like that could be very difficult.

Yes there is 2 wobble boxes on this head, it is 30'. I can only go about 2.8 mph. Tried running the reel faster, helps some but in dry beans you start to get some shatter.

2.8IJIJIJIJIJ I don't think thats the problem you need to get your dealer out.... lol.... something else has to be wrong.. cause we all know the 1020's can go pretty fast

Russ I havea 2020 on my 8010 and it will out cut both of my 1020's BUT you have to set it 17 degrees forward to get the proper angle on the knife I have a magnetic compass that I use to set it. even a couple degrees will make it not cut well.

I reset the head to 13 degrees forward on our 2388 and it made some difference. I wasnt sure how far forward to put it because it doesnt tell you anything in the manual for putting it on a 2388, I know the 1020 was 10 degrees. Maybe I will try to put it a little more forward.

Depending on the age or s_n of the 2020 maybe the early production heads had a smaller drive pulley on each side to drive the knife than new ones. Saw a 2004 header with a smaller pulley on a 8010 and owner had same complaint have seen a new 2005 header in dealer yard and it had a larger pulley on both sides. Maybe check with your dealerIJ
