Combines 2144 hopper extensions

Yes, Maurer MFG makes an extension for this model that adds 50 bushels. I am a maurer dealer and I will post a price for this unit as soon as i call them. Or you can email me.

I do not know about a 2144 but comparing a 1640 to a 1660 , where the main axle joins the frame of the thresher is a lot weaker. If you add the extra weight and fall in a dith you are going to have problems. I bought a used 1640 already with the standard bin extensions that go to the top of the cab. The previous owner had already beefed up the frame before he had any damage. So I assume he was aware of the frame problems.
