Iwent from a 1680 to a 2366 this year. I was very concerned about the combine handling 8 row head, but had no concerns about a 20 platform. Suprisingly, it did very well with 8 row head, but sometimes lacked the power with the 20 ft. My corn was very dry and yielding in the 165 to 200 range. The beans were dry, but had a lot of green stems. If you commonly have green, tough beans, I think the 30 ft. platform might be to much.
