Combines 2166 vs 2366

The 2366 has improved hyds and more hp, 245 compared to 2166's 215(IJ). We have a 2366 and like it well. Harvest 2,500 acres of rowcrops each year (corn , soybeans) using a 25' 1020 platform and 1083 c.h. IMO a 2388 will outperform the 66 in beans but are will due about the same in corn. limiting factor in corn is getting it away. 88 may shine a bit in high moisture corn. We have harvested over 20,000 bu of corn in a day with the 2366

If your not pressed for time stick with the 2166. For starters they are somewhat less expensive and secondly, like any other engine, the less horsepower the greater the longevity.
