start to grease the auger when it is fully out and or while it is swinging you will find that the grease is not getting around to the two furtherest points you are not alone very common you may have to unscrew the grease lines and make sure the grease is getting in good luck

I agree with guru that the auger on our 1680 can be very difficult to grease. Put one guy on the machine with a grease gun and the other picking up the end of the auger while it in folded. If that doesn't work, try to pump grease while you move the auger to the extended position. We grease the heck out of ours all the time, probably 15 shots in each zerk daily, even if we've only run a few hours. That keeps the zerks taking grease and the auger working smoothly.

I used old corn head grease lines and made a mount on the corner of the bin so I could flip the swing switch and step out hte door and grease the auger while it is moving. Also use a lighter grease so that it doesn,t wax up so bad.
