Combines 2188 Harvest Speed

My 2188 has no RWA. It runs about 7.4 in low 2nd and 8.6 or better in high 2nd.

It is going to depend what gear ratio transmission that the combine has in it. There were two available. In the ops manual you will find charts showing the speeds for each.

You may need to check the adjustment on your hydro cable. There is probably slop in it where it connects to the hydro on the back of the combine. Our 2188 with PGA engaged will do at least 5.0 mph, and 7.5 with it disengaged.

We have a 2188 and thats the same speeds we get, about 6.6 and 4.5 with the PGA in, we had a 1688 and the speeds were much faster
