Combines 2188 rock trap

If you have a 2188 and no rocktrap it means that you likely have a 60" feeder and you will require a 54.5" feeder AND a rocktrap assy as well. The 54.5" feeder+rocktrap equals the length of the 60" feeder. The 1400-1600 series had a 47" and 54.5" feeder option available and if a rocktrap was wanted it was "sandwiched" between the feeder and the rotor. This is not the situation with the 2100-2300 series, if you had no rocktrap you got a 60" feeder and cannot use this feeder with a rocktrap attachment. Feeders from 1600-2300 series will work. Goodluck.

Not to sound negative but you can put a rock trap on either length of feeder house . Header lift height and where or how the header sits on the ground will be the only difference . Joe

Thanks. I don't see why you can't put a rocktrap with a 60" feeder. I know they never came from the factory that way, but like Varment said, the lift height might be just a little different. The angles should be the same as before the rocktrap was installed, being the pivot is ahead of the rocktrap. I guess I'll have to call a salvage yard to get a price.

I put a rock trap on a 1460 no problems just lost some lift height. so can no longer park corn head over top of bean head in the shed for storage in the winter.
