Something else you need to check is the square of the shoe to the main hex drive shaft. Have seen some of these as much as 1 1_2 inch out of square on the diagonals and really twists everything. The cast spiders do help. One final check I always do is to grab the big drive pulley on the right side of the machine and turn it by hand before installing all the drives. You should be able to turn the shoe through one complete cycle by hand without any binding. If you can't find the problem before going on.
