Have been to a few auctions last year but never saw a 2188. Wasn't really looking for combine last year. May have to attend more this coming year.

There is a lot of difference between the two as far as updates, but that seems to be a lot. This spring I got a 1550 hour 2388 with AFS and a lot of new parts for about $70K. Haven't had any trouble at all with it. On the other hand I saw a 2188 with more hours and in pretty rough shape on another lot for 71,500 that I wouldn't give 30K for. It was still there 2 weeks ago. I am in central WA. The bargains show up after harvest is over.

I have 2 2188s that I would be willing to sell for a fair price after the harvest season is done. They both have a fair amount of hours but are maintained as good as you can ask and they are both set up with full afs,choppers,super chaff spreaders, one has standard rotor one has specialty rotor, one is rear wheel assit.
