Combines 2366 auto reel

Mi. Tech, I have 2 2000 2388s and we had the same problems you're talking about. I think it has something to do with heat. When we were cutting in Western Kansas in 100 degree plus heat the performance of the reel in auto was so bad that we had to run them in manual. When we moved up to South Dakota the first few days the temperature was in the mid 80s and the reels worked fine in the auto mode. Also like you said when I had 2188s I never had that problem. thanks for the input unit2 when i finallly get to the bottom of this i will let ya know i havent had alot of time with the combines because they are heavy into wheat. thats interesting that air temp seems to effect them also i will keep that in mind.
