had the same problem under the buddy seat there is a high pressure switch unhook it you'll have no more problems

When the light comes on there should also be a book symbol and an error code appear in the AC window. This would tell you what is shutting the system down. If the pressure switches are shutting you down there is a definate reason for this to happen. I think with the 2001IJ production year the ac system was changed and you cannot bypass the hi_low switches by unplugging them. Make sure that the evaporator coil under the seat and condensor are clean. Make sure that the return air filter behind the seat is not restricted as these could also cause this propblem.

If you have to bypass a pressure switch there is a problem in the system. For starters, make sure that the evaporator under the seat and the condensor are clean. Also make sure that the return air filter behind the seat is not restricted as this can also cause problems. Please post additional information about the fault code.

we had that do that on 1 of are 2388s it did the same thing you are tacking about it was the temperture control switch.start there it fixed ours.
