We have a machine with Michelin radials on front and rear and it runs smooth. The other machine has Trelleborgs on the front and Goodyear bias on the rear. It always lopes at high speed when the header is off. With the 25' header on you can run wide open in third, but without the header you have to back off to about 17mph. Changing air pressure does not seem to help. I kind of think the problem has to do with the amount of load on the rear tires, because that is a lot higher when the header is off. I flipped the front tires around and ran them backwards, didn't help. One of these days I would like to swap the rear radials from one machine to the other. I bet that would fix the problem, but not 100% sure.
