I would recommend the spiked bars over the disrupters. If you remove your new nonspiked bars in circle sets you can use them when you need to replace a broken one on the front section.As you probably already know you will break a rasp bar from time to time and they need to be replaced in a full circle to be balanced. I have found that the combination with the rear vanes retarded a bit will cause the stubble to be destroyed better and the threashing of corn to be much improved as the shucks are really tossed about. It is not as good as a chopper but worth the while.
