I know this is a long shot for an 06 model but check the pulley on the arm that tightens up the belt on the belt that engages the front end. It is located under the right side of the cab. I had the bearing go out and the arm would move but the pulley was gone. Had this happen to me once on a 2188. Also had a faulty switch on a 2388 once. Good luck

yeah get a short wire and try to jump it After that down on the right side of the combine is where the selaniod is You can unplug it and plug it into the parking break selaniod loacated right next to it...so it would be on all time.....but it would run After that...its the switch... So if the head runs while plugged into the parking break one order you a switch

No problem i had the same thing happen to me this year on our new 06 combine... Thought it was kinda werid but atleast we know you can change it to the parking break next time and keep cutting
