The hydro will have two oil coolers. If the machine is a 2 speed hydro, and I think it should be, the 2 speed will drop out of the high side if drive pressure exceeds about 3500 psi (I think, might be higher). The final drives whould also be different which will limit your top road speed somewhat as they are a deeper reduction than standard.

The final drives are the same. I have a ricer 2188 and there are some real diffs between the grain and rice machines. here is a short list. 1. the rear axle is 10 bolt wheels and stouter than grain. 2.stainless augers. 3.faster unloader sprockets. 4.they are a little hard on corn.Hard to keep it in the back if you have full rice spikes on the rotor with out kicker bars in the back. 5. they will cut damp stemmy beans like no tomorrow. 6.they have diffrent gears in the tranny I know this because I had to put a ring and pinion in mine last fall. they are the same ratio and all but they are Massive compared to a grain machine. Plus they have two oil coolers and a two speed hydro. I never used it but it was there. 7. My ricer has probaly 75 to 100 horse over my grain 2188. I'm not joking here. That thing will outrun, outcut and outpower my other combine and, the ricer has 4000+ engine hours and 3500+ sepertater hours on it! later, Will
