we had the same problem 2 years back. the first thing to try to replace is called the temp compensation valve. it is underneath the feederhouse and it is on the end of the block that both cylinder hoses are attached to. what ended up being our problem was we had to replace the "pop it" valve in the main hydraulic block above the left front tire. this fixed our problem, our header settled so fast it would take two people to lock it up whenever we had to change a section on the header.
