Combines 2388 specialty rotor question

The specialty rotor tends to be quieter in the field than the standard rotor, especialy in tuff conditions. As to whether you can run 50ft swaths with the 2388, I would say since you are running 25 on the other machines the 88 probably would handle it. We can't where I'm at, but we wouldn't run 25s with the smaller machine either.

Yes you can easily run 50 foot swaths through a 2388. It will increase your harvest capacity quite a bit. Remember though, there are a couple of drawbacks to 50 foot windrows. If they get wet, they take a lot longer to dry out, and it is impossible to evenly spread the straw back over the 50 foot pass.
