From the symptoms you describe, it sounds like the fuel tank vent may be plugged. If I remember correctly the vent tube is located in the air plenum near the oil cooler. I have seen them plug on the end and have also seen the tube get pinched between the plenum and the tank.

As mentioned it could be a plugged fuel vent line. Some people put an inline fuel line filter on the vent line. It could also be junk floating around in the bottom of your tank and it partially plugs off the fuel supply. Try blowing back into the tank for now and clean the tank in the off season. Good luck

I had this happen to me and it was the wastegate line that runs from the turbo to the injection pump. A cast piece came loose fell down and rubbed it in two.Therefore not giving it more fuel when the turbo called for help.

If your combine has a slotted air cleaner before it goes to air filter, shine a flash light thru slot to see if it has corn leaves in it . ours had corn leaves that would plug round holes going to air filter. It acted like fuel filters were plugged.
