THE BElT is not the problem, your wobble box pulley has a BUNCH of hp stored up in potential and kinetic energy. Even if there were a slip clutch the momentem of the pulley which is necessary to operate it would snap a section. IF you are breaking a knife head intead of a section something seems to be wrong. I have actually cut metal t fence post into (long story) and only broke two sections and two gaurds. Suggest going with some type of lOW grade section fastening device and making sure knife head is timed and fastened and shimmed securely.
