just a guess, but a freind had a tractor of diff. color do that. Oil pump had developed a leak in the suction tube from the sump. Good luck, GS

The hydralic filters are suction filters, the o ring on top is bad. Sometimes the can is damadged or not fitted right. There is a suction tube on the pump it needs to be in place. When I was getting started farming I was A Massey mechanic for a number of years. I saw lots of 2000 series tractors. good luck
