About four years ago I converted ours (has since been traded),wasn't too hard to do at all. Basically ripped off the old sickle, guards, whole deal. Put on the new guards and slide the new sickle in. Didn't change the pulley as we had the larger one already installed, but the dealer said if we'd had the smaller one on there he highly recommended that we change it. Hardest part of the whole conversion was making sure all the guards were lined up correctly, and even that wasn't difficult.
