Please don't blame AGCO for a Deutz Era machine. I have yet to have a problem getting parts for my 1983 N6 and that is any part that I know of! Deutz was a fine mismanager of Allis and Gleaner. Your part was probably from an outside supplier and you might need to look at who made the hub not the machine.

Ed i can imagine how ticked you must be, i too could understand them not having the part if it was a 20 or 30 year old machine, even then the parts should be available even if you had to wait a day or two, there should be some answers from Agco about what they expect a person to do. like i said before if they were selling the equipment and the parts for what our commodity prices are reflecting they'd be upset too. I hope you have a way of finding the parts you need to get back to the fields, good luck. I wish we could do the same but our weather here is wet, wet, wet and no sun to get into the bean fields and the corn is still over 30% yet, this is going to be one long harvest, lets hope brighter days are ahead for everyone.

Hyper, this axle has Sundstrand hydraulics. The hubs were made by Brevini in Italy and this particular model is no longer available. The info I have on the newer model suggests that it will not bolt into the same bolt pattern. Great! Model n GWRI21X191IBIB; serial n: 87-37-72838 Brevini has an office in the Toronto area. The lady there has been enquiring for me but no results yet. My machinist can repair some of the damage but it is extremely maddening to hear the input shaft, which broke, is "discontinued". To John: You are right - thing went down hill badly with the Deutz involvement. I have yet to see a recovery though. Those guys in NC have lots of money to be buying up other companies but I've waited 2 months for corn gathering chains because the system was empty - or so I was told. Great way to make me a Gleaner enthusiast. like I said, Belarus is looking better and better. There's a red one in the yard! (rental).

I also had a Sunstrand_saur . It had EXPERIMENTAl GEAR RATIOS in it.. Sunstrand sold these units to Gleaner in good faith and it turns out they were putting anything in that would roll to finish a bulk order, all the time knowing they were in trouble. Just one of those things I guess. My machine received an axel transplant with a BORG WARNER unit. Bolted right up. I cannot remember the part n but if needed can do some research and find out . Believe J Keller found the n. If you need help with an assy post back.
