the 30.5's will each run down a row and they will be flat on the ground. If your corn head chops them up good, it might not be much of an issue, but the chopper wont touch those rows
If you can center the tires in the row I would not be concerned about the stalks being to trampled to shred. Have had two TR96's one with 24.5 tires and one with 30.5's. Shredding job is not noticeably different.
