I currently run a 2188 with field tracker and 30' 1010. I went to whole goods and purchased the completing kit for a 1083 for fieldtracker_ahhc. The sensors install on the skid plates. You have to cut a hole inthe plate for the sensor arm to go thru. I offset the ahhc sensor to the side of the feeder house so the arm could come up along side. When combining wheat I do run tracker in the automatic mode. Am considering adding some weight to the sensor arms as heavy straw can cause them to ride up and not follow the ground. Previously had a 1680 that I also put field tracker on, but ran it in the manual mode only. From experience in terraces etc. a 30' with field tracker will lay in better than a 24' w_o tracker and you can keep the machine closer to level and minimize shoe losses to boot. E-mail me if you have other questions.
