Combines 30 or 35

Depends on what you are doing with it. We just purchased a 9760 with a 630 head. We do alot of high yielding wheat and not many soybeans so we did not need the extra 5 feet. In our wheat here in S. Ontario, the header is never limiting. Before making this dicision, I talked to many dealers because I was looking for a used 630 or 635. On more than one occasion some dealers were reporting bent or cracked augers on the 35 footers. This was enough to make my decision as I do not want any long term problems if avoidable. I believe the challenger 35' head has a center bearing support, probably for a reason. 35' is a big span.

We ran 635F on a 9660STS last fall, soybeans running 35 to 65 bu _ A. How fast do you want to goIJ Cut starts to get a bit ragged over 6 mph, but driver starts to get ragged over 5 or so. Nice combination, only drawback was the 20 foot auger was as long as they had last year, had to stop to top off the cart. This year we have a 9660 STS with the HUR 22.5 footer, shouldn't be a problem.
