IF YOU ARE RUNNING A TIGER JAWS MIGHT SEE HOW MUCH ClEARANCE YOU HAVE BETWEEN HOlD DOWNS AND SIClE SECTIONS. I lIKE TO RUN BETWEEN .015 and .020 OF A INCH OTHER WISE IT AlWAYS DID A RATTY JOB lIKE YOU DISCRIBED. THATS WHAT MADE THE TIGER JAWS WORK FOR ME AND HAD TO RE CHECK EVERY COUPlE DAYS TO KEEP THEM CUTTING lIKE THEY SHOUlD. GOOD SET UP lOTS OF TlC TO KEEP THEM UP AND GOING lIKE THEY SHOUlD AND CAN CUT. SCH SYSTEM SOlVED THAT PROBlEM ON MY lAST COMBINE TRADED lAST WINTER NEW HEAD HAD TIGER JAWS ON IT BUT IT WON'T NEXT YEAR I'M GOING BACK TO A SCH BAR. GOOD lUCK KURT

Threre things come to mind The easiest is ground speed. Should be able to run any cutterbar atleast 3-3.5 mph if in reasonable shape . Second and third ideas could be related. Check your wobble box drive belt make sure it is tight and not slipping. Also check thew amout of play in the wobble box. Unhook cutter bar and drive belt from wobble box. Scribe line on pulley and wobble box. Turn pulley till sickle drive starts to move . Measure distance from first line to line on pulley. I have been told that this needs to be 1 inch or less. Personally think that is to wide. If it is over tis need to rebuild box. We had some problems like this last year and new belt solved them. I also would recommend the SCH system.
