Combines 330 cornhead orange trouble

I would loosen the chains and check the bearings. There are sealed bearings on each snapping roll. When they go the chains get loose and the gears will not mesh.

This year was my first experience with an orange cornhead as well (630). It was the same way when I got it, with one of the tapered pins missing. After we got it going, one on another row on the other side came out as well. They drive in extremly tight. One guy holding a shaft for a punch and another with the sledgehammer. Any info or tips on this head would be appriciated.
