Combines 3300

A 3300 with only 1900 hoursIJ A true rarity! These combines came with a 4 cylinder diesel or gas; - I believe to be around a 239 CID!

Here in the northeast, we see one or two turn up every year for sale or at an auction. Nice little machines. About the same size as a massey 300.

We used to have 2 Massey 510's. I think it would be neat to own a 300 since they were so small. I can't imagine how you could get anything done with a Massey 300 or a JD 3300.

Those 300 combines are pretty small. I took about 650 -700 acres a year off with a pair of them. It made for some long days. The grain quality was excellent and the cleaning system was very easy to adjust. The neighbor has a 3300 deere and still runs it to this day. I believe he has about 400-500 acres.

my first combine was a massey 205 that is even smaller than a 300 or 3300. it did a good job but it took forever. I have a 510 now.

It took us about a day and a half to harvest 33 acres of corn. The previous owner of our combine had a 200 acre farm. He bought, then the next year traded up to a 4400.

How big or small is a Massey 205IJ I saw a Massey 300 once. The first thing that caught my eye was the manual crank out on the unloading auger.

A 205 is smaller than a 300. they used a 170 chysler slant 6 mounted behind the grain tank. 205s dont look anything like a 300, 410, or 510. I had a 3 row narrow head on mine.

A grin came to my face when I read the comments about the MF300. My dad used to own one, traded in the old JD55 on it. As a youngster, it was the first combine I ever operated. It had a three row corn head and 13ft. grain head, a cab but no a_c. In 170+ corn at 20% moisture it came to a crawl. Dad used to joke that you had to get off of it and drive a stake beside it to make sure it was moving....lol. He later traded it on a JD4420 which he ran until he retired

Can't tell you much about your 3300 but your corn head was manufactured between 1969 and 1987. Deere even made some smaller...a 243 and a 244, 2 row narrow and a 2 row wide.
