Be careful! A burnt engine can be a lot of trouble. Was the fire put out with waterIJ there cuold be cracks in the cast due to the rapid temp. change. Warped heads or intake manifold due to localized hot spots could also happen. Tear it down to see if pistons, rings cylinder wall are good--now is the time to rebuild it. In an FIJ Don't know, but with the rear drive from the 350, it probably wouldn't be too hard to get it to go. Ben.

yes it was put out with water and the manifolds do have cracks in them. Is this engine sleeved or dryIJ I will do whatever it takes to get it better the new, I can't bring myself to throw it away.

Dry sleeved, but after market sleeve kits are available from auto performance stores, however, you may have to go to an overbore. Good luck, 350's are a good engine, lots of parts cheap but a brute on gas in a combine. Ben.

can you find a used motor out a pickup, 4 bolt main would be good, and overhaul, not going to be cheap, but you will know what you haveIJIJIJ

This engine has a steel crank shaft and some other toys on it. I,m going the expensive route on this because you get what you pay for.
