If going to bother of opening up an engine, I would certainly do it right. New pistons and liners, check oil pump, cam shaft, etc. 145 should be easy. My 7060 does 175 without even hustling. Before going into major fuel pump changes I would look at cost of an innercooler as used on 7060, 8050, they do increase fuel effiecncy(sp) quite a bit. There should be 'coolers in salvage yards on combine engines.
