I run the flex draper and would not go back to auger table. The feed of the flex draper is awesome and will cut faster ground speeds closer to ground than my old 1020 head. Next year I can't wait to try it in wheat also.
We travel from 3.8-4.6 in soybeans making 38-45 bushels with afx 2388. Corporate farm around here runs 6-8010's and runs flex drapers as well. They did both wheat and beans with theirs. It is a more expensive head but eliminates owning 2 heads and does better job. I had very little upkeep and cut 2300 acres with it last year.
