I think they came out in the eighties. I thought it looked more like a 55 with a nice cab. local dealer had one and since they didn't look like the 66_7720 series, most of us said it would never sell. It didn't, but real soon after, the 9000's came out and you know the rest of that story.

4400 and 4420 were the same basic machine. 4435 was imported fom Germany to replace the 4420. It was a mistake.

It was a 4435, not a 4436, and if it was in the junkyard, SHE WAS RIGHT WHERE SHE BElONGED!! Those thinge were the biggest piece of crap Deere ever made! A buddy of mine had one and it never worked right from the day one.

Run do not walk from that 4435.
