Sparky, On my 7700, I took the pads to an auto parts store and matched them up with some early 80's ford 3_4 ton rear brake shoes, I also bought the brake hardware and slave cylinder rebuild kits there also. In all I spent around $50 to totally re-do the brake system. Where are you located, I might be able to give you the parts n that the stores in my area use. 95man

I'm in Owensville Mo. Thanks for your help. That sounds like a more realistic price.

Sparky, I saved 1 box that I used in rediulding the brakes. The Auto adjusting kit is n F98471 and the wheel and brake hardware kit is n H2589, both of these are Wagner brake part numbers. I can't exactly remember the brake shoe n, it was either 356 or 357 in the Brake pad shoes that O'reillys carries. I do remember they matched up to an early 80's Ford 3_4 ton rear end though. If you need to rebuild the slavwe cylinders I believe they can find they part number for that after you find which brake shoes you need. I live in SW MO near Aurora and it took a little searching to find what I needed but we finally got it figured out. I've never been arond a 4400 but i;m guessing deere used the same type brakes on the 00 series. Also I found it way easier to rebuild the brakes if you take the backing plate assembly off the tranny, although you will probably need a good ratchet and a cheater bar. let me know of you need anything else. 95man
