Combines 4400 vs 6600 in corn

a lot of the 4400's and 6600's had used the same motor a 329 diesel. I have a 4400 and my neighbor has a 6600 same 4 row heads. he can hold more grain than I can but I don't think he can really go much faster than me, a lot of this is because we both have the same engine. The later models however started using the 404's I don't know much about them though.

When we went from a 4400 to a 6620 it was a big jump in capacity and horsepower.

3 seasons ago, my neighbor traded a 4420 for a 6620 Titan II. We are shelling about 25% more acres in a day. We run the 6620 at 5 mph.
