The PB fitting just appears as a flare fitting on the main manual control valve. On the combine it comes out towards the front. There will be a steelline on it that you can trace over first to the unload swing valve. Then oil comes out of it and to the AHHC electric valve. On the lowering side, there is the load lock valve that is screwed directly on the electric solinoid valve and the drop rate valve T'd into the header raise line under the cab. The drop rate valve has a set screw on it that lets you set how fast the header will drop. The bigger the head the slower it has to be set. So could be that eiher of these could be stuck. Back to the electric valve. With you jumper wire installed, if you take the live conector and install it on the lowering solinoid does the solinoid make a soundIJ Ours all made aload clunk when the spool was pulled either in raise or lower. It was always load enough you could hear it and feel it thud on the cab floor. I guess one thing you never said, is this a plain AHHC with a 3 wire connector or a Dial-A-MaticIJ

This is just a regular AHHC, and when I was trying both connectors on the lower side I didnt hear the clunk you usually hear. The PB fitting should be right under the clutch peddle rightIJ

The PB fitting comes out of the main valve toward the front of the combine. There should be a short 90 degree fitting on it then a steel line. Its squezed in right between the valve and the front sheet metal of the cab. If you idn't get any clunk out of the electric lower solinoid then I would think that is the not lowering problem anyway.

Do you think the PB fitting might have the lowering solenoid locked outIJ

The lack of pressure could be a problem. Not enough would prevent the load lock valve from opening and lettingoil out of the lift cylinders but with power in the electric connections you should feel something when the solinoid shifts. Even a faint click. If there's nothing at all then I have to think that the solinoid may not be working. It woulde worth the time to hook a guage into the supply line going to the electric valve. When you activate the electric then you will be able to get a pressure reading and know how much pressure is being delivered by the PB fitting.
