HOW WET IS THE CORNIJ WHERE IS THE CONCAVE SET ATIJ SOMETIMES FARMERS GRIND THE CORN BECAUSE THEY ClOSE THE SIEVE TOO MUCH AND RUN lOTS OF GRAIN THROUGH THE TAIlINGS. THEY SEEM TO CONCENTRATE TOO MUCH ON THE SAMPlE IN THE GRAIN TANK AND FORGET TO SET THE REST OF THE COMBINE PROPERlY. HE SHOUlD SET THE CYlINDER AND CONCAVE TO GET A WHOlE COB. THEN SETTING THE CHAFFER AND SIEVE WIll BE PRETTY EASY WITHOUT PUTTING TOO MUCH CORN UP THE RETURN ElEVATOR. AlSO CHECK THE ClEANING FAN SPEED. SOMETIMES THE BEARING ON THE MOVABlE SHEAVE ON THE FAN DRIVE GOES BAD AND THE FAN SPEED IS lESS THAN IT SHOUlD BEWHICH COUlD CAUSE EXCESSIVE TAIlINGS.
