Combines 4425IJ

I hear from deere mechanics that they are the worst thing to have to work on. I can't imagine that they are a whole lot worse than the old 3300-7700 series machines though. Otherwise poeple seem to shy away from them just because JD sold them off after just a couple of years of production. There's one in my area that a JD dealer wants over $15,000 for. If one was cheap enough I would think about buying it myself though.

STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!! I've repaired Deere combines for a lot of years. Nothing worse than the German built Deere.

I was always told to avoid the 4425 and 4435 like the plague. Every mechanic that every worked on one, cussed it to no end. In my opinion, the JD products made in Europe are not of the same caliber of the one made in the good ole US.
