Not my first choice by a long way. We had a couple of these machines over the years and had more problems than I liked. I would look for a good 479. The 461 will do a adequate job in good conditions but when the going gets tough it leaves. 1. Weak knife bushing which is hard to change. 2. Overrunning clutch has half of the catch dogs compared to newer models. 3.The machine is already 40 plus years old. How long will they make partsIJ
