The lexion is the better machine to have in corn, period. The Deere 9860 is nothing more than a 9760 with more power, and more hp isn't going to help overcome the STS's shortcomings in corn, especially high moisture. Going from a 480R into any STS would be a big step backward in capacity, and not making any positive strides in reliability either, as the STS's remain a fragile combine that exhibit very high wear. The lexion is still the biggest and best of the two.
