are you in the US or the UK, the deutz salesman at an agricultural show reckoned that the 8xl would go like a 480 and cost as much (however IMO you wouldn't get very good back up unless you know betterIJ) i don't think that the deutz will go as well as the claas and probably won't be as well made. I am hoping for a demo of a 460 and the 8xl. We have a TX68 on demo at the moment and I don't think it will go as well as the claas as it only has 6 walkers and no where near enough power (280 or 325). The tx was only about 20% better than our claas 208's which will do 20tph in very wet wheat. I am based in Scotland by the way. I will post any info I have on the 8xl when we have a demo.
