yea, now that ya say that, I thought that i had to clean my filt more this yr than others. but it was also real dirty in beans this yr and had a few fields w_ smutty corn. But as long as the dirt stops in the filt and not in the engine, then i'd gladly clean mine in the morn w_ the leaf blower. but it needs to be looked into by Deere. my opion

We sure have noticed that, too, when we switched from 9610 to 9650. The reason is the rotary screen. It is so slopy and flimmsy that it lets dirt by as the machine bounces and vibrates on the go. I think I mentioned that on my "STS harvest summary 2001" way down on this site.
