You can take a pipe wrench and put on the shaft that goes to the knob inside and turn it. It is right behind the engine. Try spraying some WD-40 in there and then try turning it.

I've already done that, can hardly turn with pipe wrench. Was hoping for insight on how to disassemble and fix.
