It sounds like the walker pan is dumping the trash too far forward when it gets a large amount of trash coming thru, causing buildup at the back of the grain pan. You might consider shortening the pan a few inches in order to let it dump further back. We've done this in JDs to stop spearing in the front of the chaffer. Same should apply to a 510.

If it is of any help I used to remove the pan under the walkers all together when harvesting sorghum. I did not notice increase in losses over the rear. This was done on a 540.
